In our collaboration with Infinox, we've had the privilege of crafting brand identities for the flagship Infinox brand and its affiliated entities, namely IX Social, IX One, and IX Partners. Subsequently, we turned our attention to branding their B2B offering, known as IX Prime.
Our prior branding initiatives for Infinox primarily targeted the retail sector, aiming to attract new customers through campaigns and engage affiliates and introducing brokers to bring in clients. However, IX Prime presented a distinct challenge, as it predominantly caters to other brokers and specialised financial institutions, offering institutional services.
Creating a sophisticated brand style
Brand identity development
The initial phase of the branding process revolved around the logo design.
While aligning the logo with the existing company portfolio was a straightforward task, the overall brand for IX Prime demanded a departure from our previous designs. This new brand needed to exude a discreet yet professional style. Like all brands, it had to convey confidence, but given its focus on B2B interactions with significant players, it was imperative to tailor it accordingly.
Dark branding is often associated with upmarket, professionalism, and, to use a more colloquial term, a "slick" image. After discussions with the client, we agreed that this approach was fitting for IX Prime. Furthermore, we decided not to include imagery featuring people, especially the stock business imagery that can come across as clichéd. IX Prime is at its core a technology-driven enterprise, and this essence needed to be front and centre in the new brand.
The design process

Armed with this guidance, we initiated the creation of a few brand styles for the client's consideration. Our objective was to develop a brand that could stand alone as a B2B entity, yet remain identifiable within the Infinox family of companies.
The final design for IX Prime featured a combination of darker tones, integrated with the Infinox yellow colour palette. We minimised the use of imagery, placing greater emphasis on conveying key messages to highlight the features and benefits of the IX Prime company. With the client's approval, our next phase involved producing marketing materials, including brochures, stationery, advertising campaigns, and exhibition stands, all of which were instrumental in promoting the business. Additionally, we undertook the substantial task of designing the new IX Prime website and a series of videos to showcase the Prime services.
Further brand development
Brand launch and evolution
The brand successfully launched and continues to play a pivotal role within the Infinox enterprise.
However, a minor rebranding effort followed, wherein IX Prime evolved into IXO Prime. In the context of the brand, the only notable change pertained to minimal updates to the logo.
