Footprint is a sustainable living app start-up based in America. This international client got in touch requesting a brand identity that captured their app offering. The aim is promoting and aiding Americans in forming long-term sustainable habits. They do this by using simple step by step daily tasks. The user can view their progress and the positive impact it is having on the environment.
A new eco-friendly brand is born

Upon researching the sustainable lifestyle sector, our inspiration focused on organic and fresh imagery.
Understandably to match this style, natural colours became our focus such as blues and greens. To accompany the colourings, natural shapes and formations completed and complimented our initial ideas.
The ripple effect was an element that the Footprint team felt successfully captured their vision. Solidifying the messaging, the ripple symbolises the ripple effect that a more sustainable lifestyle can create. Alongside this, we put forward the idea of an additional tear drop marker for use across brand material. The marker reflects both the image of water and the idea of global location.
