A modern website for MAH Steel, a steel fabrication company

When approaching any project, whether websites, campaigns or socials, it’s key to find out as much about the company as possible.

So it was essential the website we built for this steel company had strong messaging, focused on promoting their services and ability to deliver. We came up with a simple navigation. It allows the user to navigate the site with ease, finding the pages they were looking for quickly.

We also included case studies, client testimonials and review areas to the site. When people can see and relate to the process of accomplishing the project, it adds a layer of confidence.

It may be unfair to say the building industry isn’t known for nice branding and good designs. But when you look at other companies in this sector, you tend to see more worse than good designs.

We wanted to make sure that MAH Steel stood out as a company with a professional look. We opted to go for a clean layout for the pages whilst introducing a new colour palette for the brand.

Next up was imagery. MAH Steel had recently moved into new premises with a new fleet of crane lorries. This gave us the opportunity to do a photoshoot of the premises, lorries, facilities and the MAH Steel team.

We built the website to be mobile responsive and for desktop use.

Developed in-house in WordPress, it includes a custom client area to allow addition of pages to the website with ease.

On completion of the website our next job was to optimise the website and make it SEO-ready for launch. We use a SEO software tool that allows us to see what people are searching for, including specific words relating to their industry. Once we have done our review, we generate a series of keywords/phrases that are specific to steel fabrication and have a good volume of Google search requests per month.

Armed with this crucial information, we refine page content to match what the software suggests. We can create new website pages specifically favourable to Google in improving the SEO ranking. At the same time, it will still be relevant to what the customer requires to view.

Since launching the steel company website in 2019 we have continued to actively improve all aspects of the website.

This included adding new pages when additional services are available to clients. We also created a series of area pages which have been key for SEO generated content. Since launch, MAH Steel reached the top of the Google ranking for keywords such as 'steel fabricators" and other high-searched phrases.

Lastly, we also promote MAH Steel via a series of emails sent to their customer database and continue to generate new leads and orders.
