New Fintech Brand Identity for Alpfin

Alpfin are a new company in the fintech financial trading space. They approached Form Advertising with the request to create a new brand identity and website that would position them as the go-to trading company.

 

So, let’s start!

Our first point of call when creating a new brand identity is to gain a full understanding of what the company represents. The initial information we aim to understand is:

  • What are their short-term and long-term goals
  • How do they want their peers and potential clients to view them
  • What kind of tone should the brand convey
  • Any specific likes and dislikes as to how we visualise the brand

 

The process

 

As the company was going through a name change we also discuss name options. Once we have acquired the information needed and are confident in having an understating of what the client requires, we start the design process.

As with all new brand identities the first stage is creating the logo, colour palette, brand and font style. For us it was essential for such a new brand to stand out from the crowd. With this in mind we opted for a punchy yellow bias for the brand to be built upon. It’s not normally a colour palette you would associate with a FinTech trading company, but in this instance we felt it was an option to consider and received well by the client. Multiple options were designed and provided to the client for consideration.

With sign off completed it allowed us to work on other items Alpfin required for their launch. These included the website, stationery and marketing collateral all in the new brand style.

The brand was launched alongside the new completely website. Together they give Alpfin the brand awareness and identity to compete in a crowded FinTech market.
